"The kinds of people I recruit, among them are highly quantitative analysts and traders for Wall Street, so when I'm interviewing them and screening them, I'm able to have a very deep conversation about what it is they do. I was just talking to a candidate from Wall Street who has a Ph.D in cosmology. ... So the first 20 minutes of our conversation was about his thesis in cosmology and about the so-called stationary and inflationary properties of the universe and how it explains the pre- Big Bang. It's kind of difficult to do that if you don't have that (math) background."
